Jeff Rockey, senior pastor
Pastor Jeff and his wife, Ronda, were married in 1986. They have three adult children: Matthew, Jordan, and Cammi. They are all married and have blessed Jeff and Ronda with two grandchildren (so far). The family has been a part of the Bloomfield/ Tulip community since November 1996.
Though he performs many ministry tasks, Jeff especially enjoys worship through music and spending time with students as a volunteer with our Jr. and Sr. High ministries. These are the ministries that keep him young.
When he is not at the church, he enjoys a multitude of hobbies and activities including, but not limited to: reading, wood working, music, golf, and - of course - grandparenting.
Cole & Ashlynn Thompson
Cole and Ashlynn are newlyweds who are both passionate about introducing the next generation to Jesus, helping them develop a personal relationship with Him, and teaching them how to be Christian leaders in their communities and world today. Cole is currently attending Global University Online studying Theology. Ashlynn graduated from Messenger College in Bedford, TX in May 2021 with a major in Student Ministries and a minor in Biblical Studies. Just one week after Ashlynn graduated college, she and Cole married and began the new chapter of their lives together. Along with overseeing the Youth Ministry at Tulip, Ashlynn also works as the part-time Office Administrative Assistant.
Whenever they are not hanging out with the students and working at the church, Cole and Ashlynn can usually be found spending time with family and friends, going on a date together, or spending time outdoors such as hiking or kayaking. They also enjoy cooking and baking together, making craft coffee at home, binging their newest TV show, finding a new DIY project, and making music together.
